Susan Daffron

Susan Daffron is the President of Logical Expressions, Inc. a publishing company in Sandpoint, Idaho. She also has been a veterinary assistant and worked at animal shelters as an employee and volunteer. She currently owns four dogs and two cats, all of whom came from animal shelters or rescues.

Susan is also the President and Founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals (NAPRP) an association that offers tools and information to help people working in humane organizations save more lives. After adopting her pets, Susan became interested in pet care and humane issues. Her shelter experiences led her to form the NAPRP in 2008.

A recognized editorial expert, Susan has written more than 70 articles that have appeared in national magazines, more than 200 newspaper articles, an online software training course, a software book, cookbook, and book chapters.

In addition to her writing experience, Susan has more than 15 years of experience as a writer, editor, and designer of magazines, newsletters, books and other book-length documents such as users guides and manuals. She was awarded the Most Valuable Professional designation from Microsoft in 1996 for her expertise in working with long documents in Microsoft Word.

She writes tips for a popular computing site called Logical Tips (http://www.logicaltips.com ) and for two years published a free (print) computer “how to” magazine, which is archived at http://www.computorcompanion.com . The magazine has evolved into a quarterly and continues to receive rave reviews from online computer users.

Susan also publishes pet care articles (more than 200!) for her Pet Tails site (http://www.pet-tails.com ). She also publishes articles about Sandpoint Idaho at http://www.sandpointinsider.com and articles for a newsletter site called Newsletter Help (http://www.newsletterhelp.com ).
